My name is Vaughn and this is my fourth year on Highlander Robotics. As Captain of Robotics, I manage everything on the technical side of 8033, including design, fabrication, prototyping, and more. I’m a senior at Piedmont High - this is my 7th year in FIRST robotics, having joined the team after 3 years of lower FIRST programs, FLL and FTC. Alongside FRC 8033, I mentor several FTC teams, including former world finalist team 16236.
Hi! I’m Lewy, a senior at Piedmont High School. I’ve been doing FIRST robotics in some form for 8 years, including leading an FTC team in 2020-21, and then joining 8033 in 2021. I help teach new software members and I program the robot. I’m working with the team to advance the state of our robot software so that we can do more advanced, interesting, and performant things with code.
I am a junior at Piedmont High School, and have been coding for about 8 years. In middle school, I did FLL and FTC. I am always looking to learn more about computer science and challenge myself in any way possible.
